Plain Long Sleeves

This winter, I had been looking for some more alternatives to wearing turtlenecks for work. It was almost as if I had forgotten that a simple slim fitting long sleeve existed. I went on Amazon and found these cute, soft long sleeve shirts that turns out are actually meant for nurses to wear under scrubs. Either way, they have been such a perfect alternative to wearing a turtleneck for work or just throwing on at home with a pair of sweats. They’re perfect under my jumpsuit too!

Pajama Sets

For most of my life, I have been a flannel pants and shirt in bed kind of girlie. But in the last few months, I have begun to transition into comfy PJ sets. I got this one from Target in the fall and it has become a favorite of mine. I even had to go back and buy long pants in the same fabric that I could wear with them in the winter as well. I then went on Amazon to buy a pair in another color, as similar to my Target pair as possible. The Amazon ones aren’t quite as soft, but they’re pretty close and have the same look as my Target pair. I can’t wait to get more into these in the spring and summer time too!

YouTubers

Since I bought my walking pad, I have been making more of an effort to walk in the mornings for 20 minutes or so before getting ready for work. I tend to use this time as my Youtube time and catch up on videos I have saved in my Watch Later playlist. 

Some Youtubers I subscribed to because I either followed on social media or listened to their podcasts, but as the algorithm goes, I started to discover some other accounts that I love and tend to watch pretty frequently. Here are some of my favorite Youtube accounts:

I really have enjoyed these creators as just vloggers, podcasters, or booktubers (bookstagram, booktok, etc). I find that I am someone who needs help with body doubling, and it feels nice to just listen to/watch someone’s vlog while I am doing things. It makes me feel like I am chatting with a girlfriend. I can’t wait to continue to watch these ladies and discover more!

Gua Sha

To be so honest (with everyone and myself lol) I just have not had a consistent skincare routine, AM or PM. I am very much in my “listen to my body” era, meaning if I am absolutely exhausted, I will not be forcing myself to do a full skincare routine. 

That said, I bought a gua sha this winter and a nice face oil. I definitely feel like I have been deeply enjoying the facial massages I get to give myself at night. It has been so calming and I am really glad to have hopped on this trend. 

Yes, I had been noticing my face being rounder than normal as of late, but no, I was not fully motivated by this to get the gua sha. It has been really enjoyable and I want to get back into the habit of using this nightly since it really does relax and calm me before bed.

Dooney and Bourke Bucket Bag

I had the immense privilege of getting a Dooney and Bourke bag this winter (!!!!). This was huge for me as my grandma had one of these bucket bags while I was growing up and I always thought it looked so cool and chic. My mom was actually getting rid of one last year and I was all too happy to take it off her hands. 

I have used this bag as a work bag for pretty much the entire month of February. I love this bag so much. It’s a sizable bucket bag, the All Weather Leather 3.0 Drawstring 25 in black, and I have found it actually fits everything I need to bring to work on a daily basis. I have been giving it a work break lately, since I want to be able to use it to go out or on a weekend and not have all my work stuff inside. Since it is so brand new it has had that gorgeous real leather smell that I just love. 

Tapping into my Feminine

This one is not a product and more of a chit chat type thing. I have been really tapping into my feminine lately. I don’t know if this has anything to do with being engaged and just being with Kevin specifically, but I have been noticing that I am so much more open to my girly side in the last maybe six months. 

I remember a time growing up when I made a transition from wearing skirts and dresses all the time to wanting to wear pants because they felt more comfortable. The older I have gotten, the more I love going out and finding a dress to wear for an occasion instead of a pair of pants. It just has been so fun to buy pink sweaters, pink bags, pink sunglasses, etc. and really reclaim that girlhood. 

Perfumes

Once again, here to talk about perfumes. I found one recently on Amazon that I cannot remember how I found it, but I have been really enjoying adding to my collection. I now have 4 solid perfumes that I enjoy, all have different scents. The one I just bought is Le Monde Gourmand 000. It is actually a roller and has a really pretty and fresh scent that I love, especially going into spring.
