I know that this is getting posted in August and it is nearly the end of now summer, but I still wanted to make sure I shared all of my favorite things from spring! I wanted to spend some time reflecting on this past spring and all the things I was obsessed with all season. I have added some paid Amazon links to all of these products if you are interested in getting any yourself. Let me know if you have used any of these products or have any to recommend! My instagram is @cpathofgrace, send me a message 🙂
Water Carafe
I have always made an effort to have water on my nightstand at night so that if I get thirsty overnight, I don’t have to go all the way downstairs for a glass of water. Unfortunately, I would leave a cup or a glass out for a while and it would get icky and dusty from just air particles and being uncovered. I knew it was time for me to make a small upgrade to my life and buy myself a nice carafe.
I searched on Amazon and came across this one and loved the design and color. It has been so amazing to have on my nightstand and I find myself reaching for a glass of water way more now that there is a larger supply of water and a little cup to go with.
Reading Light
I have really been trying to read in bed more. I get my lights dimmed and golden and I get into bed with a physical book. I have been trying to reserve my Kindle for when I am out of the house since it is so much smaller. Since I like to have the lights low at night, this book light has helped me maintain that night time wind down vibe while also, you know, not straining my eyes.
I have had it several months now and have yet to recharge it, so it has an amazing battery life. I need to get one for Kevin now too!
97PTA Hat

I am a big fan of a baseball cap and my good friend and artist Nine Seven PTA just released a merch line to compliment his latest album release (stream here!!). I was the proud assistant with coming up with the idea for a hat to go with this merch release so I of course bought it once it was available.
I love the tan color and pink lettering. I had been in the market for a more muted color hat, and this was just so perfect.
Thank you Justin!!
Loungewear Set
I honestly forget where I saw someone talking about this lounge set, but it was probably on YouTube or Instagram. Anywayssss I added to my cart and bought on a whim as a little treat to myself in May. Wow. I had to go and buy it in a second color because I loved it so much.
This lounge set is so unbelievably comfy that it actually helps me motivate getting laundry done so I can wear it sooner. It is cool and flowy and makes me feel a little more put together than just throwing on sweats after a workday.
I highly highly recommend this set!!
All Linen Everything
Originally when I was coming up with this list, I was going to just talk about this awesome pair of linen pants I recently got. But then I realized just how much mental space linen clothing has been taking up and so I wanted to share about several pieces I have.
Since childhood, my grandparents always wore linen in the summertime, so I have always loved that feel and style, especially in warmer months. Last year, I bought this white linen tee from Uniqlo and have been obsessed ever since. I now have it in two other colors (striped green and black) and it is really the perfect tee to throw on whether you’re going to the beach, a nice dinner, a movie, anything.
To add to my love of linen, I recently bought a pair of linen pants from Gap and they are just so wonderful. In spring and summer, I have been looking for alternatives to dresses and dress pants to wear for work, and these pants have been just perfect.
My Digital Planner
I have really pushed myself this year and gotten good with my planner (check out my current weekly spread –>).
I wouldn’t say I am consistently in my planner daily, but maybe during weekdays I would say I am pretty good. I currently use Goodnotes 6 on my iPad and have the Haus of Planner 2024 Digital Planner bundle. I love the format of the pages and love that I can choose which weekly views I want to use.

I have struggled in the past with digital planners not having the exact pages or layouts that I wanted, but I really have been enjoying this one so far this year. I recently updated my Apple Pencil from 1st Gen to 2nd Gen and it has been super comfortable to use with my iPad. I have also recently gotten into doing more handwriting-to-text in my planners instead of all handwriting. I think it gives my planner a nice clean look to have both text and handwriting.
In the past, I have preferred the undated digital planners, but this year I opted to do a dated planner. I like that everything is clean and written in for me and I don’t need to do as much filling in. I am someone who believes in paying for quality products, so I don’t mind needing to pay for a new 2025 dated planner next year since I am loving it in 2024.
The Bronx Zoo (and membership)

While writing this, it is actually reminding me I should try to schedule in some more Bronx Zoo days this year!
In 2022, I got Kevin to go in with me on a Dual Zoos Limited membership with The Bronx Zoo. Basically, it got us access to all NYC zoos for two people and parking.
I grew up going to The Bronx Zoo on a weekly basis as a little kid, and so getting to go there just nurtures my inner child so much and brings me immense joy. The daily passes and parking get expensive pretty quick, so getting the membership made so much sense.
In 2024 when we renewed, for the 2nd time, we went with Dual Zoos Plus, which was only $30 extra to get all the bonus attractions included. The gorillas are probably one of, if not my number one, favorite animal, and I always loved going to see them as a kid. I also always wanted to ride on the Wild Asia Monorail as a kid, but we didn’t really get to due to the price and long wait time. But now as an adult, almost every time we go, Kevin and I always go on the monorail since it’s included in our membership!

I could go on and on about my love for the zoo and its animals. It is such a fun place to get a good weekend walk in and just enjoy being with nature and some of the most special animals in the world. I love getting to support the Wildlife Conservation Society. It is so special to me that while many of these animals live in the zoo, that the WCS is actually protecting them from extinction and hunting.
If you’re ever in NY and want to go to the zoo, let me know!!!
Hand Lotion
One thing I have been trying to incorporate into my little daily acts of self care is to put hand lotion on at work after I wash my hands and also before bed. It may seem silly or like a no-brainer to some, but I feel like hand lotion was never something I did routinely. For me, it has been a nice little way to treat and take care of myself and takes 60 seconds out of my day.

The lotion I currently have in my bag that I use at work is from the brand Natura and it is the Ekos Castanha (Brazil Nut) Hand Cream. I think I got this in an AllTrue subscription box a while ago, and it just has such an amazing scent and keeps my hands so soft and hydrated. Such a perfect little treat for myself.
Lip Balm

Another thing I have been incorporating for some daily self care is constantly applying lip balm. Again, I know this may be a no-brainer for most people, but I need constant reminders to do some of these things for myself. I recently got the Pleasing Big Lip Moisture Balm in Vanilla Fig and it is such a wonderful scent and feels amazing on my lips.
I also have a large pack of Eos lip balm sticks and my favorite is also their Vanilla Bean. The scent and feeling on your lips just are so soothing. I have a ton of the Eos sticks everywhere: my car, my purse, my nightstand, the drawer by my front door, you name it. The act of actually putting on lip balm and hydrating my lips is actually a huge accomplishment for me, so I think it needs to be celebrated!
Buffalo Cauliflower
Lately, whenever I go to a place that serves food, I am searching their menu for buffalo cauliflower. I do enjoy a boneless buffalo chicken bite, but something about the cauliflower has just been such a craving as of late. If you’re local, check out my two favorite spots that I have gotten amazing buffalo cauliflower from:
Grass Roots Kitchen in Tarrytown NY
Sweet Grass Grill in Tarrytown NY
I have just found that I have been craving buffalo cauliflower lately. I would love to try to make some at home, but I worry that I won’t do the cauliflower right and it will fall apart. Could I learn how to do this on YouTube? Probably. But again, I would rather let the professionals at the restaurants do it and gladly pay them money to do so.
Old Navy Jeans
I am not always in the market for new jeans, but whenever I do need to buy new pairs, I have been getting all my denim from Old Navy. I am such an Old Navy girlie, they have always stood by me and had great jeans and such cute bathing suits and dresses. Just amazing neutral and quality pieces.
I recently got two pairs of jeans that I am loving. The ones I bought were Extra High-Waisted Flare Jeans in the color Anza (pictured on the left!), and light wash High-Waisted Wow Wide-Leg Jeans. When I say these are some of the most comfortable jeans I have ever worn…know that I am not exaggerating. I did also buy these in petite, but still had to cut a few inches off of the bottoms of them at home. It worked out great because I wanted the rough fringe at the bottom of the jeans anyway!

I will pretty much only wear high waisted jeans, and these both are so perfect and so comfortable. If you have any other good jean suggestions, let a girl know!!
Platform Sandals
The last item I have been loving this spring are my new black platform sandals from Target. I had a similar pair from Target before, but they were not as flexible as these, and so the top part of the sandal started to detach from the bottom. Once I found this new pair, I am pretty sure I have not stopped wearing them since.
These shoes have become the shoes I wear daily to work now that it is warmer out. They truly go with every outfit from dress pants to linen dresses to jeans. They have gotten complimented on several occasions (even at the dentist) and were just such a fantastic purchase. Go out and get some if you have been looking for a good work shoe or just staple black sandals for warm months.
That is all for my spring favorites! I love doing these recaps every season. If anyone has any other recommendations for me or things that you’ve been loving lately, shoot me a message!
